Carahsoft to Offer SwiftStack Cloud Storage Tech in Public Sector

Carahsoft Technology has agreed to be the distributor and master aggregator of SwiftStack-built cloud storage products in the federal government via NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contract.

SwiftStack intends to leverage the resale partnership to promote SmartStore, which works to help users expand use of the Splunk Enterprise software and to retain data longer, Carahsoft said Wednesday.

SmartStore uses a caching approach to manage indexed data within a remote object store and local storage.

Carahsoft added its reseller partners will have access to the offering, which is available through the company's SEWP V contracts NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B.
