The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is callig on industry firms to submit proposals on artificial intelligence applications in the area of neurotechnology.

DARPA said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice it will task teams to address issues concerning central and peripheral neural interfaces.

Contractors would work to develop decision-making methods for neural interface sustainment and applications that model and leverage biological neural circuit information to boost bandwith and computing capacities.

The agency will award other transaction agreements to selected firms.

Reponses to the presolicitation notice are due on March 4.
