The National Geopsatial-Intelligence Agency has partnered with Science Aplications International Corp. to facilitate a competition for mobile application developers to help address a Department of Defense need through the Innovative GEOINT Application Provider Program.

IGAPP Grand Challenge participants will be given three months to produce, demonstrate and deliver their offerings under four different categories, according to a recently released notice.

Vendors have the chance to win the $20K grand prize and $5K consolation prize.

The NGA director and SAIC representatives will announce the winners during the GEOINT Syposium, scheduled to take place from June 2 to 5.

Interested parties may submit applications through April 19.
