Pyramid Systems has received a task order from the Securities and Exchange Commission to build a workload tracking system for SEC's Division of Corporation Finance.

The company said Wednesday it will support technology infrastructure modernization efforts within the division that helps other federal agencies manage investments.

Brian Brennan, senior vice president of client operations at Pyramid Systems, said the company aims to develop a system designed to address scalability, availability, accessibility, maintainability issues as well as help improve user experience.

SEC currently works with the company to update and maintain applications, produce data marts and reports and implement commercial off-the-shelf tools.
