Trustwave and NikSoft have partnered to offer cybersecurity services to government entities through the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70 vehicle.

GSA awarded the partnership four categories of the Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services special item numbers to help public sector customers secure networks, Trustwave said Thursday.

The HACS SINs cover a wide range of services such as high value asset and risk and vulnerability assesments, penetration testing, incident repsonse, and cyber hunt activities.

Bill Rucker, president of Trustwave’s government solutions division, said the two companies will work to ensure that agencies are given access to security services and technology platforms designed to assess risk, manage security posture and avoid cyberattacks in real time.

The alliance seeks to combine Trustwave’s security, technology implementation and consulting experience with NikSoft’s engineering and project management services to support federal, state and local agencies.

Trustwave will also deploy its SpiderLabs team of ethical hackers to help protect the systems of federal, state and local government clients.
