Tyler Technologies offers a suite of technology products and services designed to help agencies comply with a newly passed bill mandating the public availability of machine-readable government data.

The company said Wednesday its Socrata platform will allow users to manage siloed data and compliance with the OPEN Government Data Act.

Socrata is certified under Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program

The Department of Transportation uses the technology to share information about state crash incidents, access data from transportation systems and drive policymaking efforts. The platform also works to help Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services determine health outcomes, utilization and spending gaps between subgroups of Medicare beneficiaries.
