Boeing has landed a four-year, $71.3M contract from the U.S. Navy to perform engineering and integrated logistics services to support T/AV-8B Harrier maintenance efforts.

The company will help maintain the double-seat training platform through December 2023 as part of the aircraft's post-production support phase, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The service branch plans to obligate funds with each delivery order and did not competitively procure the services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.

T/AV-8B is a vertical and short takeoff-and-landing trainer built to simulate special combat and expeditionary missions performed by the AV-8B strike aircraft.
