David Reeves, who has served as chief revenue officer of OpenGov since April 2016, elevated to the position of president at the Redwood City, Calif.-based government budgeting software provider.

OpenGov said Wednesday Reeves previously led the firm’s go-to-market strategy that includes sales, marketing and customer success initiatives.

“His appointment comes on the heels of a record-breaking 2018, in which the company surpassed 2,000 governments using our software,” said OpenGov CEO Zac Bookman.

Additionally, the company named 25-year technology industry veterans Karen White and Maury Blackman to advisory roles.

OpenGov offers a cloud-based software platform designed to help public sector agencies manage budget, forecast personnel costs and engage stakeholders for feedback on financial reports.
