eGlobalTech Updates Cloud Deployment Automation Platform

Arlington, Va-based information technology company eGlobalTech has updated an open source platform designed to help government customers automate the process of deploying applications onto a cloud computing environment.

Version 2.0 of Cloudamatic now includes a central hub for users to manage multiple cloud projects, an automated user and group management automation tool, a simplified authentication mechanism, eGlobalTech said Thursday.

The technology is built to automatically deploy and provision apps to cloud platforms from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft or Google.

Cloudamatic also supports configuration of provisioned resources, transfer of encryption and security policies to all resources and orchestration of updates, operational oversight and patches.
