TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 12, 2019 — ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has entered into an agreement earlier this month to acquire Kforce Government Solutions for $115M and bring in 500-plus employees from KGS with the goal to increase its federal civilian and health portfolio, GovCon Wire reported March 4.

The transaction, which is expected to close within the month, will enable ManTech to offer information technology services via the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation vehicle, the company said March 1.

“This acquisition is consistent with ManTech’s targeted federal civilian expansion strategy,” said Kevin Phillips, president and CEO of ManTech and a 2019 Wash100 awardee.
