Veenam's N2WS subsidiary has updated version of a cloud-based technology platform that works to help organizations back up data or applications in Amazon Web Services computing environments.
Version 2.5 of the Backup & Recovery offering is designed to help public sector customers automate disaster recovery processes between AWS GovCloud US East and West regions, N2WS said Tuesday.
The updated product allows GovCloud users to also maintain workloads and files in authorized data centers if a regional issue occurs.
Backup & Recovery offers database integration, data storage management support for application programming interfaces via a command-line interface system. Additionally, the platform helps accelerate the Amazon Elastic Block Store's snapshot cycling processes through the Amazon Simple Storage Service.
N2WS offers its platforms to information technology organizations and managed service providers that operate production environments on AWS.
