NTT DATA Services’ federal business has received a potential five-year, $60M contract to provide help desk and field services support for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
The contract covers the delivery of specialized and general IT management support to NIAID’s office of science management and operations to facilitate research efforts to treat and prevent allergic and immunologic diseases, the company said Thursday.
“This contract will allow us to deliver the latest innovations and technologies to NIAID with very low transition risk,” said Tim Conway, president of public sector at NTT DATA Services.
“We are committed to our long-term partnership with NIAID and bringing industry best practices to them that continue to drive performance improvements and efficiencies,” Conway added.
The company has been delivering help desk support to NIAID since 2013 to help the agency improve response times and client satisfaction.
