Veritone has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification to market an operating system for artificial intelligence applications in the government sector.

The company said Wednesday its aiWARE platform is now available on the FedRAMP Marketplace and designed to help agencies manage machine learning models to obtain insight from audio, video and other data sources.

The Department of Justice served as the initial sponsor agency partner in Veritone's certification process.

A 2017 Deloitte Insights report projected that AI technology would save federal agencies up to 1.2B hours annually over the next five to seven years and save as much as $41.1B.
