Richard Cody, a retired U.S. Army general, has joined MAG Aerospace as a member of the company’s board of directors.

MAG CEO Joe Fluet said in a statement published Thursday Cody is a great addition to the company’s board due to his experience, innovation and contributions to the field of aviation and command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Prior to MAG, Cody served as corporate senior vice president of Washington operations at L3 Technologies for a decade.

His 36-year military career included roles such as vice chief of staff of the Army; commander of the 160th special operations regiment; and commanding general of the 101st airborne division.
