“Bill comes to us with an impressive background in the foundation world, government and industry,“ said Dr. Thomas G. Mahnken, president and CEO of CSBA. “I have had the pleasure of working with Bill in various capacities over the years, and I'm excited to welcome him to the CSBA team.“

Bodie possesses more than 30 years of experience managing and supervising business portfolios for leading U.S. defense and civil engineering firms. Recently, he served as the group executive vice president for the Parsons' Middle East Africa business unit. In addition, Bodie served with Northrop Grumman, KBR, Fluor and other organizations in a range of leadership roles.

Prior to joining CSBA, Bodie was focused on economic and security currents in the Middle East as a visiting fellow with the Lexington Institute. He remains active with national security and philanthropic organizations including as a member of the board of trustees for the Shakespeare Theatre Company and the advisory board for the Salvation Army's National Capitol Area Command.

“Bill is a welcome and valuable addition,“ said ambassador Eric Edelman, CSBA counselor. “Bill joining our extraordinary team adds fundraising breadth and focus to an organization that is the leading public policy institute for research on defense concepts, capabilities and resources in an incredibly contested international environment.“
