Dan Hibbard, director of electronic systems engineering group at Trident Systems, has been promoted to vice president of electronic systems at the Fairfax, Va.-based military technology developer.

He will oversee the ES group with a focus on expanding the unit's national security practice, the company said Tuesday.

“For the last five years as the director of ESEG, Dan has overseen the delivery of Tridents first space qualified payload electrical unit and was instrumental in tripling the revenue of the group over a three year period,” said John Broglio, executive VP of operations at Trident Systems.

Hibbard started his career at Trident in 2009 as a radio frequency engineer and later held the positions of senior RF engineer and project manager before he was promoted to ESEG group director in 2014. He previously worked at Raytheon as a senior electrical engineer.

Trident develops technology in the areas of integrated C4I, electronics and assured collaboration systems.
