General Dynamics' mission systems business has partnered with Curtiss-Wright to offer an artificial intelligence-driven situational awareness system for signal intelligence and electronic warfare.

General Dynamics said Tuesday it will combine its SignalEye software with Curtiss-Wright's Intel-based CHAMP-XD1 processor to help users classify radio frequency signals via machine learning.

The combination of the two technologies provides for an open-architecture, ML-driven RF threat detector with supercomputer-level performance.

“The evolving EW and SIGINT threat confronting warfighters today requires an integrated solution,“ said Bill Ross, a vice president at General Dynamics Mission Systems.
