Leidos has won a potential five-year, $51.5M contract to deploy specialized personnel who will provide technical expertise and knowledge to the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

The service branch received one offer for the firm-fixed-price contract via a competitive acquisition process and will obligate $7.57M at the time of award, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Work will take place at various locations worldwide through April 2024.

AFOSI is responsible for investigating serious offenses that may undermine operations of the service branch or DoD, including espionage, corruption of the contracting process and terrorism.
