Northrop Grumman‘s technical services business has secured a three-year, $44M contract modification to continue producing electronic attack pods for the U.S. Air Force.

The modification represents option three of a previously awarded contract and brings the contract’s potential cumulative value to $200M, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Work under the exercised option will take place in Herndon, Va., through April 18, 2022.

The Air Force initially awarded a potential $480M EA pod engineering and manufacturing contract to Northrop in 2012.
