Panasonic has unveiled two laptop products that are designed and approved to work with the nationwide public-safety broadband network.

TOUGHBOOK 33 and TOUGHBOOK 54 devices will support public safety access to the FirstNet communications platform through the use of SIM cards and help users view critical information in the event of a critical situation.

AT&T is building the network under a public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority.

A team of Panasonic engineers integrated the AirPrime EM5711 wireless module from Sierra Wireless into Toughbook computers.

Panasonic, a FirstNet Dealer Program member, completed a nationwide tour to provide information about platforms and services first responders need to adopt FirstNet.
