Pegasystems has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program authorization for a cloud-based technology offering designed to help government clients transform processes and manage citizen services.
The company said Monday its FedRAMP FIPS-199 Moderate Authorization for Pega Cloud for Government will allow agency users to simplify service delivery in line with modernization requirements and federal security, regulatory and compliance standards.
Pega noted it collaborates with multiple government agencies to help them accelerate modernization efforts through cloud implementation.
"Government agencies are increasingly shifting to the cloud to accelerate their modernization strategies, so it's imperative those solutions meet the highest federal requirements," said Doug Averill, government industry market lead at Pegasystems.
Averill added the authorization marks a step "toward helping our clients meet their transformation goals while ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal security."
