Tony Vanchieri, a 24-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran, has been appointed vice president of civilian and federal business development at management consulting and technology services contractor Addx Corp., G2Xchange ETC reported Tuesday. 

Vancheri joins Alexandria, Va.-based Addx from Buchanan & Edwards, where he helped identify new business opportunities with the departments of Homeland Security and Justice. 

He also worked as a Booz Allen Hamilton senior associate focused on homeland security, justice and transportation businesses. His corporate career has also included positions at VanchieriAssociates, QinetiQ North America, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin.

Before he joined the private sector, Vanchieri served as a staff chief at the DHS and a senior program manager at the Federal Aviation Administration.
