AAR Gets ‘Best Midsize Employer’ Recognition for Second Straight Year

AAR has been included in Forbes magazine's 2019 ranking of best midsize employers in the U.S. for the second consecutive year.

Market research company Statista surveyed more than 30K employees nationwide to help the publication compile the list, AAR said Friday.

“I am fortunate to work with such a talented group of people who share the same dedication to AAR’s core philosophy of ‘Doing It Right’ which guides every one of us every day," AAR CEO and President John Holmes said.

The Woo Dale, Ill.-based company offers education reimbursements, mentorship, medical insurance and networking support to employees.

FAA Certifies General Atomics-Made Extended Range Drone for Testing in US Airspace

General Atomics' aeronautical systems business has received the Federal Aviation Administration's approval to test a second Avenger Extended Range unmanned aircraft system in U.S. national airspace. The company said Wednesday it will use the FAA-granted experimental certificate to expand Avenger ER's testing activities for internal research and development, as well as contracted efforts.
