Advanced Concepts and Technologies International has been certified under the Virginia Values Veterans Program for the company’s approaches to recruit and retain personnel who served in the military.
The recognition acknowledges compliance with the V3 Program’s guidelines for the recruitment, hiring and retention of veteran employees, ACT I said Tuesday.
Claudio Monticelli, chief operating officer of ACT I, said the company is looking forward to increasing its military veteran employment efforts and working with the V3 program.
The program hosts training and certificiation activities aimed at encouraging companies and agencies to implement best practices for including veterans in the workforce.
The first V3 Program conference took place in 2012 and has helped employers hire more than 33K veterans to date.
