Hewlett Packard Enterprise has recognized Affigent as a small business partner of the year for federal distribution efforts in 2018.

Affigent, an Akima subsidiary, provides the federal government with HPE's GreenLake, an information technology offering that delivers hardware, software and expertise either in-cloud or on-premise, Akima said Tuesday. The platform operates on a consumption-based model.

“We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with HPE to offer cloud and managed services to federal government customers," said Carol Rivetti, president at Affigent.

HPE awarded the honor to Affigent during the former's annual Partner Summit.
