TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 6, 2019 — Fluor (NYSE: FLR) named Chief Legal Officer Carlos Hernandez as acting CEO and Director Alan Boeckmann as executive chairman amid the planned departure of former top executive David Seaton, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
The company said Thursday Seaton stepped down from his roles Wednesday but will remain at Fluor to support management and the transition.
Hernandez, who also currently serves as corporate secretary, will hold the interim CEO position until a permanent lead officer is appointed, while Boeckmann is leaving the board of directors at BP this month.
