Mike Baraiolo, formerly an Oracle sales and management executive, has joined cloud implementation services provider MTX Group as senior vice president of public sector sales.
He has 15 years of sales experience in enterprise software, infrastructure and cloud-based technology platforms designed for the federal government, MTX said Wednesday.
MTX expects the addition of Baraiolo to drive the firm's efforts to provide services to federal clients that include the departments of Labor, Transportation and Health and Human Services.
The company aims to introduce its Maverick Artificial Intelligence Platform to the public sector in addition to cloud products.
Baraiolo previously served as area VP of public sector sales at Oracle, VP of of North America sales at Open Text. His early leadership experience included sales and management roles at Symbus Technology and the Alcatel-Thomson joint venture.
