Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. has won a one-year, $43.7M contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to design and build a border infrastructure in Rio Grande City, Texas.

USACE solicited three bids and received one bid for the design-build project, which is projected to be complete by April 17, 2020, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The contractor operates as a subsidiary of construction and engineering company Kiewit.
