The Washington Headquarters Services has awarded Institute for Defense Analyses an $11.8M initial task order under a potential five-year, $950.6M contract to evaluate national security issues.

Work will include evaluation of systems and technology platforms in development, deployment and utilization phases, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

IDA will perform work at the Mark Center in Alexandria, Va., and other DoD and government facilities within the National Capital Region.

The Pentagon expects the nonprofit corporation to complete services by March 30, 2024.
