Robert Cardillo, former director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, has joined the board of advisers at Washington, D.C.-based national security advisory firm Beacon Global Strategies.
The 35-year intelligence community veteran led NGA from October 2014 to February 2019 and before that served as the first deputy director of intelligence integration at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence for four years, Beacon Global Strategies said Wednesday.
His IC career has also included time as deputy director of Defense Intelligence Agency, acting director of intelligence in support of the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman. He also led analysis, production and source operations and management functions at NGA.
Cardillo received various government awards such as the Department of Defense Distinguished Service Award, two Director of National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medals and the Presidential Rank of Meritorious Executive.
