Science Applications International Corp. has received the latest VMware design certification for a software-defined data center that offers cloud-based information technology services to federal and commercial clients.
SAIC said Tuesday it became the first company to receive VMware's Certified Partner Architecture for Validated Design 5.0 designation and can now develop and certify custom automations for customers.
The version 5.0 private cloud design is meant to help clients complete SDDC deployments within six to eight weeks, simplify IT operations through validated automations and designs, manage cloud-based backups and modify capacity as needed.
“This certification expands our current suite of offerings and enables us to continue to provide the latest technologies to our customers,” said Coby Holloway, vice president of enterprise IT at SAIC.
SAIC is also a certified VMware Enterprise Solution Provider.
