The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has issued a presolicitation to seek for applied research concepts in various scientific and engineering disciplines.

According to a FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday, DARPA plans to explore research efforts in sensor technologies, social systems, preemptive warfare and mathematics.

The efforts are intended to investigate subjects such as surveillance systems, health monitoring, artificial intelligence, defense against destructive weapons and more to equip warfighters with advanced technologies to reinforce U.S. national security.

Interested vendors have until June 12, 2020 to submit their responses to the notice.

DARPA expects to award multiple spots in line with the program. In addition, the agency will determine the amount of funding based on the quality of the submitted proposals.
