Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheon's intelligence, information and services business, said the company has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to assess the vulnerability of avionics, mission computers, navigation and other subsystems of F-15 and C-130J aircraft to cyber attacks, Air Force Magazine reported Friday.

Raytheon will begin the cyber vulnerability review process in the fourth quarter of 2019 in an effort to enhance the resiliency of the systems in the event of a cyber breach.

“Resiliency says that even if something were to breach, and malware does enter, the system is resilient and can continue to function as intended,“ said Wajsgras, a 2019 Wash100 winner.
