TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 13, 2019 — ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) will work with the Environmental Protection Agency to evaluate risks to human health after securing a five-year recompete contract worth $48M, GovCon Wire reported Friday.

The company said June 6 its work will include studying health risks arising from chemical and environmental factors, as well as generating insights into methods and analysis tools that support a “scientifically defensible” assessment.

“We look forward to continuing work with the agency to help them identify new state-of-the-art methods for evaluating current and emerging threats that will ultimately help decision-makers better protect public health and environment,” said Jennifer Welham, senior vice president in charge of the health science and survey research business at ICF.
