Microsoft has introduced a service meant to help national party committees and federal political campaigns secure online communications.

The Microsoft 365 for Campaigns offering consists of multifactor authentication, advanced threat protection, data classification and security, mobile application protection and update prioritization features, the company said Wednesday.

U.S. customers can use the platform to add users and manage administrator privileges to any system. The tool also offers access to AccountGuard, designed to send cyber attack notifications to organizations and their associates.

The company will provide the service for a monthly fee of $5 per user.
