Boeing has identified opportunities to sell the KC-46A tanker aircraft to the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Qatar, Norway, Israel and NATO, FlightGlobal reported Monday.

Jeff Shockey, vice president of global sales and marketing at Boeing's defense, space and security business, UAE intends to buy three new tankers that could add to the country's Airbus A330 aerial refueling aircraft fleet.

The company aims to deliver 18 KC-46A tankers to the U.S. Air Force by the end of the second quarter and bring the number of deliveries up to 40 by year's end.  USAF has received 11 units to date.

Shockey added multiple countries have expressed interest in procuring the E-7 airborne early warning and control aircraft.
