Carahsoft Technology has been named Veritas Technologies’ “Public Sector Distribution Partner of the Year†for 2019.
It received the recognition during the 2019 Veritas Sales Kickoff event, Carahsoft said Thursday. The company has been a Veritas partner for about 15 years, supporting Veritas’ go-to-market approach.
Carahsoft pursued multiple government-related efforts in 2018, including the addition of Veritas’ NetBackup enterprise-level recovery suite to the Amazon Web Services commercial cloud marketplace.
The company also distributed Veritas-made products under the Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program.
“It’s encouraging for our team to receive this recognition for supporting Veritas’s public sector business,†said Bryan Jenkins, director of sales at Carahsoft’s Veritas team.
