TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 19, 2019 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will provide cybersecurity and associated support services to a country in the Middle East/North Africa region under a contract valued at close to $110M, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
The company will develop cybersecurity centers that will work to detect intrusions, respond to cybersecurity incidents and provide operational support, Raytheon said Monday. It will also conduct vulnerability assessments and supply cybersecurity training to the MENA customer.
"The challenge of defending large, complex networks, platforms and infrastructure against the most extreme class of cyber threats is fully met by our core cybersecurity competencies and global experience,” said Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services division and a five-time Wash100 winner.
