Science Applications International Corp. has received a $40M contract to develop, integrate and sustain ground systems for the Space and Missiles Center at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico.

The company will perform this work to support ground system operations at Kirtland AFB’s Space and Missile Systems Center, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Work will take place at Kirtland AFB, Naval Research Laboratory facilities and sites in California and Colorado including Vandenberg and Buckley AFB, as well as future locations in Maryland.

SMC’s Advanced Systems and Development Directorate is the contracting activity.
