Sheila Sorrells Named Federal Business Dev’t Director at Search Firm Elastic

Sheila Sorrells

Sheila Sorrells, a more than 20-year public sector market veteran, has joined search company Elastic as director of federal business development, G2Xchange ETC reported Friday.

She brings to the role decades of experience carrying out go-to-market strategies in the public sector and driving revenue growth through program capture and business development efforts across federal civilian and health care sectors.

Prior to Elastic, she worked at Splunk as business development manager for federal health care and civilian initiatives. Sorrells served as a global alliance manager for Lockheed Martin at Symantec and held similar roles at NetApp and Cisco.
