Jeff Brody

Carahsoft Technology has agreed to be the master government aggregator of Government Freelance Exchange, an online marketplace designed to help federal, state and local agencies find consulting and professional services providers.

The GovFlex platform is now available to the public sector via NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contract and the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance procurement vehicle, Carahsoft said Tuesday. GovFlex is designed to promote competitive bidding and offers access to a network of independent experts as well as small businesses.

According to Carahsoft, the software-as-a-service platform works to help agencies search for talent such as program management and technical professionals who can support modernization efforts.
