The General Services Administration plans to negotiate a three-year contract extension with MetTel for the provision of telecommunication services.

GSA intends to extend the company’s work performance under the Regional Local Service Agreement, which is scheduled to expire on May 30 of next year, to help agencies manage operational, technical and cybersecurity functions, according to a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday.

The agency noted that extending the contract through May 31, 2023, will allow agencies to implement information technology modernization processes and plan their migration from LSA II contract to the Enterprise Infrastructure-Solution procurement vehicle.
