Seven Guidehouse partners and senior leaders have joined the boards of various nonprofit organizations as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program.

The CSR initiative requires employees to identify their selected nonprofits, establish teams and provide support to the organizations as volunteers, Guidehouse said Thursday.

Guidehouse CEO Scott McIntyre, a 2019 Wash100 Award recipient, said the board appointments validates the company’s commitment to a range of advocacies and demonstrates its efforts to get involved in community activities.

“We take great pride in our people, and the fact that they want to be able to support their communities and have a real impact,” he added.

According to Guidehouse, its employees’ community volunteer work for the past year went beyond the national average.
