Science Applications International Corp. has received a $48M contract modification for two years of supply chain management services in support of the U.S. Navy. According to a Department of Defense notice published Friday, the company will manage the supply chain of the Navy’s industrial hardware for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul.

The modifications results from an exercised two-year option under a previously awarded potential 10-year, $144M contract that the company received from the Defense Logistics Agency in 2014.

Work will take place at locations in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and California through Sept. 30, 2021. DLA will use fiscal 2019 through 2021 defense working capital funds to finance work under the modification.
