TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 19, 2019 — Amazon Web Services‘ GovCloud (US) platform provided support to Smartsheet, developer of the cloud-based work organization and automation platform Smartsheet Gov, as the latter worked to secure a provisional authority to operate from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, GovCon Wire reported Aug. 30.
AWS said Aug. 29 that Smartsheet Gov, built on AWS GovCloud (US), aims to increase the efficiency of digital workplace systems. Amazon Partner Network consulting partners Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) and Coalfire also supported Smartsheet in the FedRAMP security documentation and third-party evaluation processes, respectively.
“By building on AWS GovCloud, Smartsheet and their government customers may host sensitive data and regulated workloads, while meeting stringent US government security and compliance requirements,” said Dave Levy, vice president of U.S. federal government at AWS and a 2019 Wash100 Award recipient.
