Jeff Brody

Accela, a software-as-a-service provider to the government sector, has awarded its 2019 Partner of the Year award to Carahsoft Technology.

Carahsoft said Wednesday it earned the recognition for its work with Accela's business and sales group last year to introduce a complete civic offering to the public sector market.

Both companies have worked together over the past five years in efforts to market licensing, service request management and inspection platforms to agencies.

Tom Nieto, chief operating officer of Accela, said the partnership has helped government customers implement technology to serve citizens and address challenges.
