Chris Bishop, former senior vice president of strategic sales at ManTech International, has joined technology services provider Pyramid Systems as chief growth officer.

Bishop will help drive Pyramid Systems growth strategy and oversee business development, strategic planning, marketing and proposal functions in his new position, the company said Thursday.

“He is well-known in the public sector for his win rates and ability to grow revenues across federal accounts,” said Jeff Hwang, co-founder and CEO of Pyramid Systems.

Bishop noted that he aims to help drive the company’s civilian and security market strategy and create value for new customers in complementary vertical markets.

The nearly 30-year federal market veteran previously held leadership roles at NCI Information Systems, URS, SRA International and Computer Sciences Corp.

Pyramid Systems is a woman-owned company headquartered in Fairfax, Va., and works to help federal clients implement Agile, DevSecOps, user interface and experience, cloud engineering and business analytics platforms.
