Booz Allen Hamilton, Mitre, Devis and Giant Oak have been inducted into The Homeland Security and Defense Business Council, a homeland security consortium composed of small businesses and large companies.

The Council said Tuesday that it aims to develop and augment relationships between government and industry leaders and optimize information sharing and collaborative efforts on homeland security between member companies. In addition, the organization was established to support the Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Enterprise, an initiative seeking to shield the U.S. against terrorist attacks.

“They are recognized leaders in the homeland security community and will bring both their unique capabilities and a ‘mission-first’ approach to the work of our organization,” said Marc Pearl, president and CEO at the Council.
