TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 12, 2019 — Nutanix's (Nasdaq: NTNX) Xi Government Cloud platform has attained "in process" status under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program as the company seeks an authority to operate for the platform in line with government security standards, GovCon Wire reported Aug. 29.
The company said Aug. 28 its Xi Government Cloud, which is designed to support workload placement for sensitive government data, will undergo further assessments toward receiving FedRAMP Moderate authorization.
Xi Government Cloud consists of the Xi Beam cost optimization and governance tool and the Xi Frame desktop-as-a-service platform.
