Raytheon has received an $80.4M contract modification to continue producing MK54 Lightweight Torpedo parts for the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales customers.

The company will provide common parts kits and spare components of the MK54 Lightweight Torpedo Mod 0 and Mod 1, the Department of Defense said Friday.

In addition, the modification, which stems from the base contract’s third option year, provides for production support materials, hardware support and complementary engineering work.

Canada, India, Norway, the Netherlands and the U.K. are the effort’s FMS customers. Work will take place in Portsmouth, R.I., and Keyport, Wash., through June 2022.

Naval Sea Systems Command will initially obligate an amount of $71.6M that combines funds allotted for FMS and Navy weapons procurement.
